It's Good, We're Good, I'm Good

Its P-Day! Its finally here after a week and a day! And man so much has happened in that time. My companion Elder Newby is going to Chesapeake, Virgina. "East virgina🎶" (to the tune of West Virginia) so I'm not going to be seeing much of him after the MTC. He's been real good to me, when I first got here I was pushing myself too hard trying to learn everything I needed to know. He slowed me down so that I can truly gain something from what I'm learning. Just a bit more about my companion he's from St. George and has a southern accent, (so do 3 other elders in my district) and a good way to describe him is Troy Bolton from high school music. Not even kidding just look at my picture with him and it'll all make sense.
A funny story will usually contain Elder Davey, he's a yellow personality if that helps paint a picture. So we were heading to breakfast as a district and we were talking about how missionaries are statistically 7 years ahead of most people, and Elder Davie comments "yeah that's because we're more mature" and then in a higher voice "guys look an acorn!"
The meals aren't that impressive. Nothing better than what I had at home. I did eat this vegan chicken that was really terrible. But other than that the meals are good.
There's been a lot of cool things that have happened at the MTC. I've loved every moment of the experience. That being said I'm ready to get out. We found a Narnia hole! It had a yo-yo and a fidget spinner.
The things I've learned that have impacted me the most has been the understanding that as a missionary I carry the name of Jesus Christ. And that Jesus shows his love through us. Other cool things of note is that we got Elder Soares at the Tuesday devotional. He had a great message to share. I also sang in the choir for that devotional where I ran into my friend Trevon, currently Elder Paxton.

I love you guys!
