Heya sorry about not sending an email last week. These last two weeks have been packed. Earlier this week we invited my friend David to get baptized, that was such an amazing lesson! David really knows the scriptures, he's even read the Book of Mormon all the way through. We also had a bon fire this week which was super fun. 

Crazy story for the week, one night Elder Hurley wasnt feeling good so he called the mission nurse and she told him to go the ER. We went with them so we woudn't leave his companion Elder Dean alone. So we were out pretty late having a good time.

Also small reminder, read your scriptures. They are wonderful I had a great experience diving into them again this week, especially the Book of Mormon. But don't worry about my experience go find your own this week. I promise if you look for something you'll find an answer in the scriptures.

Full Steam Ahead

So we finished up the transfer pretty good. Elder to'o and I have had a lot of fun together. We started getting some of our friends to church and that feels super good! This weekend we also got to go back out and help with clean up again, that again was super hot. 

My favorite part of this last week was my come follow me study. As I read about Samuel the Lamanite something that stood out to me, he said that the wickedness of the nephites was "contrary to the nature of happiness." That hit me hard and fast, am I happy? At that moment I wasnt sure I could say that I was. So it lead me on a great chase to find out what I was doing that was contrary to the "nature of happiness." One thing I'll share because I guess I didn't learn my lesson, sunshine. Yup I think like a couple months ago I've been lacking that vitamins D. After cleanup the last thing I wanted to do was be in the sun, and so we stayed inside for the next couple of days. And just like before I started to get the blues. So that's one thing in going to try and change.
