Twice the Size

Well this last week me and my new companion Elder Borg have opened up 2 areas Cleveland south and now Cleveland north. I won't lie I'm rather fried (feeling extremely exhausted) but other than that things are going. 

Shout out to my dad Lonny King who is now my stake president. 

So Long Orange

Well after 7 1/2 months I guess I'm no longer needed in orange. I've had an amazing time and it feels a lot like leaving home. I'm so proud of the people I got the opportunity to meet and work with. I'm proud of Betty, Cheaquetta, Willie, Cindy, and Kaydn and the steps that they've taken to get closer to Heavenly Father on the covenant path. It's been so miraculous seeing all the little things that have gone to making my time here in Orange amazing and I'm not sure I'll forget them soon

I'm heading out to Cleveland TX now and I'll be working with Elder Borg. I'll be sure to get my address out and I can wait to see what happens there!

Spirit's Up, Spirit Leads

This last week has been a whole adventure. We had a doctors appointment in Houston for Elder Maires. Sister Hewlett then took us out to lunch and a treat. On the way back Elder Maires got a speeding ticket. (😂🚔💸😬) The next couple days we had some amazing regular days. It's been a long while since we just went out teaching lessons and finding new people. Then this friday we went to the temple with Cindy, Willie, and Betty. I had the opportunity to baptize all three of them and one other person. It's been a good while since I've been able to do that. 

What's stood out to me the most this week was how much I recognized the spirit. I felt the spirit with me a ton and I felt my spirit uplifted. Everything really is better with the spirit. Just yesterday I felt the spirit so strongly. Church had some powerful testimonies, I had interviews with President Hewlett and I felt the spirit there. Right after that we had an awsome meeting for missioary work in the stake, and I felt the spirit there. And finally last night we went out and everything fell apart as usual, but I felt the spirit still, we stopped by at someone we've been teaching for a while and we put her on date for baptism. 

The spirit was there

I love being a missionary and I love all the experiences I get to see and have. Theres a lot of great things that are happening today, and theres some great things to get excited about this time of year.
