Family to the Fold

Hey guys I just had an incredible last week. I was able to talk to my dad for father's day and we had 3 baptisms this weekend! It's been so nice being able to teach this family and I'm so happy that they decided to get baptized and make covenants. I've loved being able to teach this family, they're so happy and know how to have a good laugh. We also did a ton of service this last week where we tore off shingles and roofed a home. It was super hot! I'm actually still super drained from it but, fortunately it's p-day!

Another funny story is that after one of our lessons with this family I ran over a nail, so my bike was wrecked. Fortunately my Dad taught me how to replace and patch a tube so I was able to get that fixed. Unfortunately I didn't check to see if there was anything more than the nail because there was still another little staple that went through and so I had to patch it again the next day.

I have two thoughts to leave with you guys today.

1) Repentance is real, and if we follow the prophets council to seek daily repentance we will see the Lord's work in our life, and we will see him changing us.

27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their aweakness. I bgive unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my cgrace is sufficient for all men that dhumble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make eweak things become strong unto them.

Try replacing "Men" with your name, and "weakness" with whatever you're struggling with and you'll get a really cool verse of scripture.

2) Hydrate or die.

I love you guys keep having a great time and I'll talk to you next week.

A Sweet family.

Flyin By

Heya guys this last week was super packed full. It was hot, then rainy, then hot again with so many cool things that just happend. So news update, there's a family we've been teaching that are getting ready to be baptized this Saturday, I'm so excited for them. my favorite quote from them was (speaking about the Book of Mormon) "There's a power in this book. Don't you guys feel it!"

I sure have felt it, I actually finished another read through of the Book of Mormon and this last time I went through I've felt a deeper understanding on the parallels from the stories in the Book of Mormon and the events of today. I know that the Book of Mormon really is for our day, and that there is a power in it.

Other than that, it's just been a great week. It feels like time's getting faster and I'm excited to spend it with my new district and companion in the next few weeks. I love you guys keep havn a good time and I'll write next week

Transfers in Orange

Man this last bit's been really packed full. It seemed like this last week everything was planned out for us which was super nice. We got to go to the temple on Tuesday which was so much fun. It was super cool to go within a week. On the way back from that we stopped at Buc-ee's which is a really fun gas station. The rest of the week was just a ton of visiting and a bitter sweet farewell to Elder Dowdle. I'm now serving with Elder Dyer, He's awesome! Keep having a great summer, and remember "Hydrate or Die" I'm learning that lesson really well on my bike.
