just want to send an email out about my favorite thing about Texas. Neighbors.
Mother nature puts southeast Texas in a pickle about every 6 months or so, and
when it happens the people are quick to come and help.
I
had the opportunity to get out and help those affected by a recent tornado.
There were so many volunteers, people cleaning up debris, driving around in
4-wheelers with food, people parked on the side of the road with signs saying
"free hot dogs and burgers." There may have been more than 10 people
gathered together, but I enjoyed the love that was shown.
